Did you know that over 40 UK institutions deliver courses through different transnational education methods in Cyprus?

Through a series of events and activities such as the #HERForumCY organised in February 2019 in Nicosia by the British Council in Cyprus, experts from both countries discussed the collaboration of the higher education and research sectors post-Brexit at the first Higher Education and Research Forum.

The British Council has been contributing to the development of a global academic community by providing international networks and platforms to discuss higher education, such as the Going Global annual international conference. The conference brings together approximately 1,000 leaders of tertiary education from over 50 countries to debate the future of further and higher education and share the latest thinking on international education with the aim of shaping future policy. This year the conference will be held online free of charge in June under the theme 'Global learners, global innovation' with live virtual events, publishing blog posts and podcasts, and sharing posters.
