LCCI has sent out that the qualifications offered have been reviewed in order to ensure that they are up to date to demand and to help support the aims of students and their future employment opportunities. By working closely with employers, professional bodies, universities, tutors and students, their aim is to ensure that their qualifications fulfil the requirements of both the workplace and further study.
As a consequence of this review, they have decided to withdraw from the secretarial/business administration sector and have therefore identified a number of LCCI qualifications that we will no longer offer.
Qualifications being withdrawn
The below table shows qualifications which are all being withdrawn with no planned replacement.

The qualifications listed below are being withdrawn in their current form. However, other qualifications are being redeveloped within the Business and Marketing suites, which will feature the key elements of these withdrawn qualifications. Some students may therefore be transitioned onto these newly developed qualifications. More information about this redevelopment will be available in due course.

Diplomas affected by qualification withdrawals
As many of the above qualifications form constituent parts of diplomas, the following are also being withdrawn:

If students plan to claim any of the above diplomas, they will need to complete the qualification(s) being withdrawn by the final assessment date. However, they will have until the dates listed in the above table to claim their diploma.
The Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration is also being withdrawn on 31 December 2019. However, as Level 3 Meetings and Level 3 Practical ICT will be withdrawn in December 2017, from 1 January 2018 until 31 December 2019 the Diploma will comprise the following components:

By adding these optional units in place of the mandatory Practical ICT, students may choose an optional component that is more tailored towards potential career paths, whilst also embedding core business skills.
Move to on-demand only assessments
The way the LCCI Business and Marketing qualifications are sat have been reviewed and it was decided to make certain qualifications available as on-demand assessment only. The qualifications affected by this change are:
