Who can enter
Participants must be 18 years old or above, citizens of the Republic of Cyprus (RoC) or citizens of third countries legally residing in the area under the control of the RoC for the last 6 months prior to the submission of their application, pursuing studies or working in a scientific field in science, engineering or mathematics with a very good knowledge of the English language – Undergraduate and postgraduate students, teachers, professors, scientists and researchers are all welcome to apply!
Who cannot enter
- press, journalists, people working in the media or public relations officers, professional artists or performers, journalists or broadcasters (as their main or only job)
- previous FameLab prize-winners (i.e. those who won first, second or third prize at the national final)
- employees of the British Council, Cyprus Research Promotion Foundation or SciCo Cyprus and their immediate relatives are not allowed to participate in the competition.
