Due to the recent measures for the Corona virus pandemic, we would like to inform you that both our offices are now closed till further notice and all our staff is working remotely.

With regards to the recent developments of the Corona virus and the measures taken in Cyprus, test takers can be informed about their exams below:

IELTS

Registration now open with more flexibility and choices for IELTS candidates

Our test centres have now reopened with extra health and safety precautions in place. Check our updated schedule that offers more test dates for computer-delivered and paper-based IELTS. Book your IELTS test. 

You can continue to prepare for IELTS by using our free online preparation resources.

Cambridge International examinations - CIE

Thank you for your continued patience during this exceptionally challenging time. We apologise for the time it has taken us to provide the following guidance for private candidates. We have needed this time to fully consult with Cambridge, and also monitor the ongoing developments at the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual), to fully understand how the grading process could work for private candidates entered via the British Council.  

 

Our agreed position and guidance for private candidates is:

  • If you are entered for IGCSE, you should defer to November 2020.
  • If you are entered for AS level examinations, you should defer to November 2020.
  • If you are entered for A2, or the full A level, we are asking you to wait for a further update.

Pearson Edexcel

We apologise for the time it has taken us to provide the following guidance for private candidates sitting Pearson qualifications with the British Council. We have needed this time to fully consult with Pearson, and also monitor the ongoing developments at the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual), to fully understand how the grading process could work for private candidates entered via the British Council. We would like to share an update for you as private candidates currently entered for the May/June 2020 window.

Cambridge English

To protect the health of test takers in light of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), we would like to inform you that we have moved all Cambridge English public exams in Cyprus to July and extended registration deadline to 29 May. If the July session is not suitable for you, then have in mind that more sessions will soon become available from September 2020 onwards.

University and Professional exams

To protect the health of  test takers in light of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), University and Professional tests have been suspended in Cyprus until further notice. 

We will be contacting your relevant university for this update.

ABRSM

We would like to inform you that ABRSM has decided to postpone the registration period for Session 2 Practical Examination Session of November/December 2020. Further information on this decision can be found here: https://cy.abrsm.org/en/
