Free ABRSM Music Teacher Support Workshop!
Would you like to develop your teaching skills, hear from an ABRSM examiner and get the most from your students?
Come along to a free teacher support workshop, presented by Mark Monument, ABRSM examiner! The workshop will take place on Wednesday 7 December at Classic Hotel, 94 Rigenis Street, 1513 Nicosia from 09.30 - 12.30
Assessing musical performance and Assessing the supporting skills: Aural and sight reading.
This seminar looks at how an understanding of the way ABRSM exams are assessed can support the exam journey, from planning and preparation through to the exam itself, and beyond to the mark form.
The workshop will:
- introduce creative teaching ideas, resources and activities to support exam preparation
- include a demonstration of how examiners apply ABRSM's marking criteria to assess each piece or song performed
- explain why aural skills are so important and how to help your pupils develop them
- explore the skills needed for fluent sight-reading and how to develop a student's reading skills.
After the Seminar we will send you an Attendance Certificate.
