British Council has been working in Cyprus for more than 75 years.
We believe our work in cultural relations plays a key role in sustaining our good relationships in building capacity in education, English language teaching, arts and governance. We collaborate with local organisations in finding appropriate experts for their needs, co-organise events, conferences, seminars, and training.
We have successfully partnered with the Ministry of Education, local Universities and Teachers’ Associations in Cyprus and have an excellent track record in delivering high quality events.
Our programme areas
EDUCATION Through our range of projects, we provide skills development opportunities and support networks and exchanges of professionals, creative practitioners and young leaders in education. We help to improve quality and network with influential UK and international partners in order meet our partners’ educational needs.
SCIENCE We support and promote UK science innovation through a wide range of activities in Cyprus and across the globe.
ARTS & CULTURE Whether you’re interested in art, photography, drama, dance, literature, creative writing, film or design, we bring the best of UK culture to you.
